Role & responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day production operations and achieve production targets.
- Handle complete soap/oil soap manufacturing processes from raw material charging to finishing and packing.
- Plan manpower, production schedules, and machine utilization.
- Monitor oil/fat, caustic soda, fillers, chemicals and other raw materials to minimize wastage.
- Maintain product quality, batch consistency and production efficiency.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Purchase departments.
- Reduce production losses, downtime and manufacturing costs.
- Lead and train production supervisors and workers.
- Ensure factory safety, housekeeping and process discipline.
- Maintain production reports, batch records and daily MIS.

Preferred candidate profile

I would strongly prefer someone who has actually worked on the shop floor of an oil soap/soap manufacturing plant, rather than a general FMCG Production Manager.

2. Laundry Soap / Soap Bar manufacturing
3. Detergent manufacturing
4. Toilet soap manufacturing
5. Soap noodles / fatty acid / saponification experience
