Role & responsibilities

- Establish SOPs for tailoring, assembly lines, and final finishing.
- Set and maintain inline and end-line AQL standards for garment construction.
- Standardize pattern-matching processes for block-printed fabrics during cutting.
- Monitor shrinkage allowances to ensure accurate post-wash garment fit.
- Train tailors, line checkers, and finishers on quality and defect criteria.
- Audit cutting-room layers for alignment and pattern direction.
- Conduct inline inspections for stitch density (SPI), tension, and puckering.
- Verify garment measurements against tech packs before and after washing.
- Conduct 100% final inspection of tailoring, drapes, and trims.
- Ensure final finishing, ironing, thread trimming, and tag compliance.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education:



Degree/Diploma in Garment Technology or Apparel Production.
- Experience: 3-7 years of experience in quality management, preferably in ethnic wear.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern matching, and natural fabric behavior.
- Hands-on expertise in AQL, fit analysis, garment inspection, and stitching defect correction.
- Valuable understanding of tech packs, measurements, shrinkage, SPI, stitching, and finishing quality.
- Experience in conducting inline and final quality inspections and implementing quality standards.
- Ability to train and guide tailors, line checkers, and finishing teams.
