We are looking for an Associate Director - Category Management to join our Global Procurement team.

The Associate Director - Category Management will lead strategic procurement and category management activities across global procurement categories, driving value through supplier partnerships, sourcing excellence, contract negotiations, and stakeholder collaboration. This role will partner with business leaders, suppliers, procurement colleagues, and cross-functional teams to build and execute category strategies that support Regenerons global growth and operational objectives

This position requires solid expertise in category management, supplier relationship management, strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, market intelligence, and leading global cross-functional initiatives in a complex, matrixed organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead category management across a portfolio of global procurement categories, developing and executing long-term category strategies.
- Partner with global business stakeholders to align procurement priorities with organizational goals and business needs.
- Manage strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and contract development to maximize value and mitigate risk.
- Drive supplier performance, innovation, and relationship management across key strategic partnerships.
- Utilize market intelligence, industry trends, and supplier insights to inform category decisions and sourcing strategies.




- Deliver measurable results through cost optimization, cash flow improvement, risk management, and process efficiency initiatives.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Quality, and other cross-functional stakeholders on contracting and procurement activities.
- Mentor, coach, and develop procurement talent while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- You bring clarity, integrity, and strategic thinking while leading organizational change and influencing senior stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Bachelors degree in business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Significant progressive procurement and category management experience, including Pharma or BioPharma industry experience.
- Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, category planning, and contract management.
- Demonstrated experience leading global procurement initiatives and managing complex supplier portfolios.
- Strong understanding of supply market intelligence, supplier risk assessment, compliance, and financial evaluation methodologies.
- Experience working with sourcing, contracting, ERP, and eRFx platforms such as Oracle, Zycus, or Ariba.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills in a global environment.
- Fluency in English with the ability to collaborate effectively across international teams.
