Our reputed MNC Client is hiring for the Risk Analytics Consultant/ Analyst role:

Location: Bangalore

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days WFO)

Shift: General

Notice Period: 0 -30 days (Plz don't apply if your official notice period is more than 30 days)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Risk Analytics Analyst to support fraud risk analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analytics capabilities, hands-on experience with SQL and Python, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights. Experience in the banking, payments, fintech or financial services sector with exposure to fraud risk and/or credit risk is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analytics & Insights

- Perform data extraction, transformation and analysis using SQL and Python.
- Conduct exploratory and diagnostic analyses to identify trends, patterns and risk drivers.
- Develop risk performance reports, dashboards and management information systems (MIS).
- Support ad hoc analytical requests and deep-dive investigations.

Risk Analytics

- Analyze fraud and/or credit risk portfolios to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
- Support rule performance monitoring/recommendations, risk strategy assessments and portfolio reviews.




- Generate actionable recommendations to improve risk management outcomes.
- Monitor key risk performance indicators and trends.

Dashboarding & Visualization

- Design and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Tableau (preferred).
- Create executive-ready presentations and reports summarizing analytical findings.
- Ensure data visualization outputs are clear, accurate, and actionable.

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Risk, Product, Operations, and Technology.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to business stakeholders.
- Communicate complex analytical concepts in a simple and concise manner.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Finance or a related quantitative discipline.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in analytics, risk management, fraud analytics, credit risk, or related domains.
- Solid proficiency in:
- SQL
- Python
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Experience in developing analytical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
