About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and TypeScript to drive automation excellence across our products and platforms. In this role, you will design and build scalable automation frameworks, implement end-to-end test automation strategies, and ensure high-quality software delivery through robust testing practices.
You will work on up-to-date web applications, backend systems, batch processing workflows, and desktop applications while collaborating closely with developers, product teams, and DevOps engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Test Automation & Framework Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Implement automated end-to-end testing for:
- Web applications
- Desktop/Windows applications
- Backend and batch-processing systems
- Enhance and migrate existing automation suites built using Selenium, Java, C#, or Python.
- Contribute to automation best practices and framework improvements.
Quality Assurance & Validation
- Develop automated tests for REST APIs and GraphQL services.
- Validate integrations involving MQTT, SFTP, and other data exchange mechanisms.
- Perform database testing and data integrity validation using SQL.
- Execute regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities.
- Manage test cases and executions using tools such as Jira/Xray.
CI/CD & DevOps Integration
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Support test execution in cloud and containerized environments using AWS and Docker.
- Collaborate on performance testing and monitoring activities using tools such as JMeter or k6.
Defect Management & Collaboration
- Analyze test results, investigate issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Report and track defects with detailed reproduction steps.
- Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with development teams to improve product quality and testability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
- Experience in QA automation and software testing (5+ years).
- Good programming knowledge in TypeScript and familiarity with Java, C#, or Python.

Preferred Qualifications
