TCS is hiring AIX Administrators for Mumbai Location

We are looking for experienced AIX Administrators with strong expertise in AIX system administration, LVM, HACMP, VIO Servers, LPAR/DLPAR operations, and performance monitoring. Candidates should be comfortable working in a 24x7 support environment and managing enterprise-grade IBM AIX infrastructure.

Must-Have Skills

- Strong experience in AIX Administration
- Valuable knowledge of Logical Volume Manager (LVM)
- Basics of HACMP Cluster Administration
- Experience in configuring and managing VIO Servers
- Hands-on experience with LPAR and DLPAR operations
- Willingness to work in a 24x7 support environment
- Good-to-Have Skills

- Key Responsibilities

- Monitor system performance using vmstat, iostat, sar, topas, netstat, and nmon and analyze reports to identify performance bottlenecks.
- Perform ML/TL updates, APAR fixes, patch installations, and system upgrades as per customer requirements.
- Conduct capacity planning and resource optimization across AIX servers.
- Generate and analyze NMON reports for performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Manage incidents, changes, and service requests while ensuring adherence to defined SLAs.
- Support and maintain enterprise AIX environments, ensuring high availability and system stability.le & responsibilities
