Shubham Forwarders is a freight forwarding and logistics company providing International Ocean & Air Freight, Customs Clearance, Transportation and end-to-end logistics solutions for importers and exporters.

We are looking for an energetic, smart and result-oriented Sales Executive / Sales Manager who can generate new business, develop strong customer relationships and contribute to the growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and generate new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics.
- Develop new customers through cold calling, meetings, references, LinkedIn, email campaigns and market visits.
- Approach exporters, importers, manufacturers, traders and other potential customers.
- Generate business for Sea Freight (FCL/LCL), Air Freight, Customs Clearance and Transportation.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with the Pricing & Operations teams to provide suitable quotations.
- Follow up regularly with prospective customers and convert enquiries into confirmed shipments.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and generate repeat business.
- Visit customers regularly and understand their upcoming shipment requirements.
- Collect market intelligence regarding freight rates, competitors, customer requirements and trade lanes.
- Coordinate with overseas agents and internal teams whenever required to develop international business.
- Maintain a proper database of prospects, enquiries, follow-ups and converted customers.
- Ensure timely follow-up for quotations and pending business opportunities.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Focus on profitable business, not only shipment volume.




- Ensure proper coordination with operations and accounts for smooth execution and timely payment collection.
- Maintain professional communication with customers at all times.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics.
- Basic understanding of FCL, LCL, Air Freight, Import/Export, FOB, CIF, EXW, DAP and DDP.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong convincing and customer-handling ability.
- Good follow-up skills and ability to convert leads into business.
- Smart, presentable and confident personality.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, email and basic CRM/customer management tools.
- Strong commercial understanding and ability to identify profitable business opportunities.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and business development.

Experience

Preferred: 1–5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping or related B2B sales.

Candidates with strong sales ability and a good understanding of the logistics industry may also be considered.

Compensation & Incentives

Salary will be based on experience, communication skills, industry knowledge and sales capability.

Performance-based incentives may be provided based on business generated and gross profit achieved.
