About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Medical Billing Specialist with hands-on experience in US Medical Billing and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of claims processing, insurance verification, payment posting, AR follow-up, denial management and healthcare billing workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end US Medical Billing and Revenue Cycle Management activities.
- Review patient and insurance information for billing accuracy.
- Perform insurance eligibility and benefits verification where applicable.
- Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance payers.
- Monitor claim status and perform timely claims follow-up.
- Investigate and resolve claim denials, rejections and billing discrepancies.
- Perform Accounts Receivable follow-up and work on outstanding claims.
- Post insurance and patient payments accurately.
- Review EOBs, ERAs and payer responses and take appropriate action.
- Perform charge entry and billing-related data validation where applicable.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies and internal teams to resolve billing issues.
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
- Follow established US healthcare billing procedures and productivity standards.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and applicable company policies.




- Identify recurring billing issues and support process improvement initiatives.

Key Software

Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, AdvancedMD, Kareo, NextGen, eClinicalWorks, Waystar, Change Healthcare, Availity, Microsoft Excel; experience with other EHR, EMR, practice management or RCM platforms will also be considered.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Life Sciences or a related field.
- 38 years of relevant experience in US Medical Billing, Healthcare BPO or Revenue Cycle Management.
- Hands-on experience with US healthcare claims and payer processes.
- Solid knowledge of medical billing workflows and claim lifecycle.
- Experience in denial management and AR follow-up preferred.
- Working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM codes preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet productivity and quality targets.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
- Ability to work effectively with US healthcare clients, providers and payer processes.
