Role & responsibilities

- Facilitate management and implementation of Insurance program across group.
- Record management of all insurance covers / endorsements / declarations etc.
- Review of insurance cover for considering update and change in risk if any. Making sure all risks are covered.
- Responsible for facilitating placement of insurance policy by preparing RFP, inviting quotations, comparing the inclusions, exclusions and deviations of policy wordings for each bidder, negotiating the coverages of policy with the underwriters.
- Facilitate placement of insurance policies for CAPEX & OPEX projects. The policies are EAR, IAR, Business Interruption Policy, Special Fire & Peril Policy, Burglary & Theft Policy. Director & Officers (D&O;) policy etc. Placement is done based on L1 quotes receives from various insurance companies. The analysis of quotes is done on the basis of the rates issued by GIC/IRDA.




- Review of insurance cover for considering update and change in risk if any. Making sure all risks are covered.
- Lodging of claims with brokers / insurance company in case of claim arise & following up with broker/insurer for deputation of empaneled surveyor at site.
- Responsible for submission of documents as per LOR receive from surveyor for claim settlement.
- Coordination with insurance company for release of claim settlement amount
- Review of claims assessment and taking internal approval for final settlement.
- Dealing with brokers and insurer & internal stakeholders for insurance placement and claims .
- Maintain tracker for Insurance policy & Claims for weekly review of outstanding claims.
