Technical Skills

plumbing systems, including materials, fittings, and
valves.
4. Pumps and Pumping Systems: Calculations of pumps and
capacity, including selection, sizing, and installation.
5. Water Supply Systems: Understanding of water supply
systems, including municipal water supplies, wells, and
stored water tanks.

Preferred candidate profile
The Fire Hydrant System Engineer is responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining fire hydrant systems for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. The engineer will ensure that the systems meet local building codes and regulations, and are designed to provide adequate water pressure and flow to support firefighting activities.
