Jain Petroleum Consultancy operates a network of over 30 petrol pumps across Meghalaya and Assam, actively driving end-to-end development, expansion, and standardised construction of modern retail fuel outlets across all regions.

Job Description:

Jain Petroleum Consultancy operates a network of 30+ petrol pumps across the North East region with continuous new site developments. We require a single point of contact (SPOC) to take complete ownership of procurement for current petrol pump construction and renovation projects.

Since all our petrol pumps follow standardised designs, patterns, and specifications, the Purchase Manager will eliminate pricing discrepancies across locations, ensure standardized material selection (such as tiles, fans, and fixtures), negotiate centralised bulk pricing with reliable vendors, and streamline delivery to site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the central manager for all site material demands across petrol pump project sites.
- Ensure 100% adherence to standard designs and specifications (e.g., uniform tiles, fans, hardware, and fixtures) across all construction sites.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors; collect and analyse multiple quotations to secure maximum cost efficiency.
- End variable site-level pricing by establishing fixed,



best-rate agreements with verified suppliers.
- Visit active construction sites and local market vendors regularly to assess progress, track inventory needs, and enforce quality control.
- Coordinate loading, dispatch, and delivery of materials directly to site engineers to keep construction on schedule.
- Check bills, verify quantities and physical deliveries, and process payments without discrepancies.

Qualifications:

- Graduate in any field, preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration (BBA/B.Com).
- Prior experience in construction material procurement, site coordination, or supply chain execution would be a plus.
- Strong track record in vendor negotiation, bill verification, and handling bulk construction hardware/fixtures.

Skills:

- Sharp negotiation skills to prevent price variations across different project locations.
- Ability to enforce material standardisation without compromise.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, email, WhatsApp, and procurement tools for tracking site orders.
- Clear coordination skills to align site supervisors, management, and vendors.

Vehicle Requirement:

- Personal two-wheeler (Scooty / Bike) with a valid driving license for regular local field movements and site inspections.

Travel Requirement:

- Must be fully available and willing to travel within the city and to various construction sites/vendor hubs across the region as required by work.
