Mandatory Skills

1. Strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor & SolidWorks (Part modelling, sheet metal, Assemblies, Drawings).
2. Experience working with any PDM system (SolidWorks PDM, Teamcenter, Windchill, etc.).
3. Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals, materials, and manufacturing processes.
4. Experience in selecting standard parts like Motors, bearings, seals, valves etc.
5. Experience in applying DFX principles & DFMEA.
6. Experience in material selection, heat treatment and coating technologies.
7. Hands-on experience in:

- Sheet metal design
- Fabrication design
- Welded structures
- Machined components
- Casting design

1. Good knowledge of Welding symbols, GD&T; and standards (ISO/ASME).
2. Strong engineering calculation skills (stress, tolerance stack-up, fits, etc.).
3. Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
4. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Experience 4-6 yrs

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Inventor & SolidWorks.
2.



Manage product data and revision control using PDM tools (any industry-standard PDM).
3. Day to day sustenance work (ECO/ECR/ECN)
4. Perform engineering calculations to validate design integrity, strength, and performance.
5. Apply GD&T; principles for accurate dimensioning and tolerancing.
6. Design components and assemblies for sheet metal, fabrication, casting, machining, and welded structures.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, sourcing, Electrical) to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
8. Prepare and maintain BOMs, design documentation, and technical reports.
9. Support prototype development, product testing, and design improvements.

Troubleshoot design issues and propose solutions based on engineering principles.Optional Skills Working experience in NPD/VAVE

Qualification (Education) BE/B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering
