Role & responsibilities

- Supervise and manage day-to-day production activities to achieve production targets in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
- Monitor production line performance and ensure adherence to production schedules.
- Lead and guide shop-floor manpower, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems, SOPs, and customer requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce wastage.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, and Planning teams for smooth production flow.
- Monitor process parameters and take corrective actions to minimize downtime and defects.
- Ensure implementation of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and other operational excellence practices.




- Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with EHS policies and statutory regulations.
- Conduct shift meetings, allocate work responsibilities, and monitor employee performance.
- Prepare daily production reports and communicate production status to management.
- Support recent model launches and process improvement activities.

Preferred candidate profile

- Candidates from Automotive OEMs, Bus Manufacturing, Commercial Vehicle, Passenger Vehicle, or Auto Component industries.
- Experience in shift management and handling large shop-floor teams.
- Proficient in MS Excel, production reporting, and manufacturing KPIs.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
