Role & responsibilities

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer with hands-on experience in Kotlin and modern Android development. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Android applications while collaborating with Product, QA, and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Android architecture, REST API integration, and software development best practices.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
- Build scalable, high-quality mobile applications following Android best practices.
- Integrate and consume RESTful APIs using Retrofit.
- Implement local data storage using Room Database.
- Load and optimize images using Glide.
- Follow Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and Design Patterns.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, QA,



and backend developers to deliver high-quality features.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Use Git/Bitbucket for source code management and version control.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues while ensuring application performance and stability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following coding standards.

Education Qualification:

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA / M.Sc. / M.S.
