Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to contribute to the Global Trade Compliance engineering program.

The role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting scalable cloud-native applications, enterprise integrations, and workflows.

The technology stack includes Java, Node.js, Python, AWS, REST/SOAP APIs, CI/CD, Oracle, Snowflake, and Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications and services.

- Develop backend services and APIs using Java and Node.js.

- Develop frontend and full-stack application components as required.

- Build integrations with enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs.

- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and AWS Code Pipeline.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK.

- Develop automated unit, integration, and E2E tests.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues independently.

- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability using Splunk and Dynatrace.

- Work with business and engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Apply engineering best practices for security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

- Maintain technical documentation for architecture, design,



deployment, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of software development experience.

- Robust hands-on experience with full-stack software development.

- Strong experience with Java and Node.js.

- Experience developing frontend applications and backend services.

- Strong experience with AWS and cloud-native application development.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and production deployment.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably AWS CDK.

- Experience with REST APIs.

- Experience with databases and SQL.

- Experience developing automated tests and debugging production issues.

- Experience with monitoring and observability tools.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Snowflake.

- Data Engineering / Analytics experience, including event instrumentation, ETL/data pipelines, and analytics.

- Experience with Salesforce integrations.

- Experience with Oracle databases.

- Experience with OWS/OEDQ.

- Experience with AI/ML or Generative AI.
