About the Role

We are hiring an experienced India Head Curriculum & Instruction (C&I;) to lead curriculum strategy and instructional quality across large-scale skill development and training programs.

This is not a pure curriculum-design or instructional-design role.

We are specifically looking for a hands-on Skill Development & Training leader who understands how training is delivered in the classroom, can develop and coach trainers, drive quality across multiple centres and partners, and is comfortable personally conducting an in-depth training session/lecture when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development and continuous improvement of curricula for existing and new job roles.
- Drive instructional and training quality across multiple centres, geographies and delivery partners.
- Establish and maintain high standards for classroom training and methodology.
- Lead Train-the-Trainer (TTT), trainer development, coaching and capability-building initiatives.
- Develop systems for classroom observations, trainer feedback, assessments and continuous improvement.
- Ensure consistent training quality across third-party training/delivery partners.
- Work closely with employers and industry stakeholders to ensure curricula remain aligned with job-market requirements.
- Monitor learner, certification, placement and training outcomes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Ensure alignment with NSQF, Sector Skill Councils and relevant government skilling standards.
- Lead and mentor the Curriculum & Instruction team.




- Work with government bodies, training partners, employers, funders and other stakeholders.
- Support large-scale Government and privately funded skill-development programs.

Candidate Profile

- 8+ years of overall experience, preferably within Skill Development, Vocational Training, Employability, Livelihoods or Education.
- Minimum 34 years of team management/leadership experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in training delivery.
- Candidates who have personally worked as a Trainer / Master Trainer / Faculty / Training Manager and later progressed into leadership roles will be highly preferred.
- Should be comfortable personally taking classroom sessions / lectures / training sessions when required.
- Experience in curriculum development, review or implementation for adult learners.
- Strong exposure to Trainer Development / Train-the-Trainer / Faculty Development / Instructional Coaching.
- Experience managing training quality across multiple centres/geographies.
- Experience working with third-party training or delivery partners.
- Knowledge of NSDC / NSQF / PMKVY / Sector Skill Councils / Government Skill Development ecosystem would be preferred.
- Solid stakeholder management and communication skills.
