Covio Search Developer

An experienced Search Developer responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and optimizing enterprise search solutions using the Coveo (Covio) Search platform. The role involves implementing search interfaces, relevance tuning, indexing strategies, APIs, and integrations with enterprise applications to deliver an optimal search experience.

Must Have Skills

- 6+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Coveo (Covio) Search Development.
- Experience in configuring and managing Coveo Search Platform.
- Robust expertise in Search UI customization and Search APIs.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Knowledge of search indexing, crawling, metadata management, and relevance tuning.
- Experience integrating Coveo with enterprise applications and content repositories.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.




- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
- Excellent debugging and performance optimization skills.

Good to Have Skills

- Experience with Coveo for Salesforce.
- Experience with Coveo for Sitecore.
- React.js or Angular development experience.
- Knowledge of AI-powered search and recommendation engines.
- Exposure to Generative AI/Search Assistants.
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Azure Cognitive Search or Elasticsearch exposure.
- Coveo certifications.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Coveo Search solutions.
- Configure search sources, indexing pipelines, and crawling strategies.
- Develop and customize search interfaces using Coveo Search UI components.
- Implement search relevance tuning and ranking strategies to improve search quality.
- Integrate Coveo Search with enterprise applications, portals, and content repositories.
- Develop and consume REST APIs for search-related functionalities.
- Monitor search performance and optimize indexing and query processing.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high system availability.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and developers to gather requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and release activities.
- Document solution designs, configurations, and best practices.
