Job Summary

We are looking for a confident, professional, and customer-oriented **Visa Counsellor** to guide clients through the visa and immigration process. The candidate will be responsible for understanding client requirements, explaining suitable visa options, assisting with documentation, handling follow-ups, and supporting clients throughout the application process.

Key Responsibilities

Client Counselling

* Counsel clients regarding different visa categories and overseas opportunities.

* Understand the client's educational, professional, financial, and travel requirements.

* Explain eligibility criteria, application procedures, processing timelines, and documentation requirements.

* Provide clear and accurate information without making false promises regarding visa approval.

Visa Application Support

* Assist clients in preparing visa application forms and required documents.

* Check documents for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.

* Guide clients regarding passports, financial documents, educational certificates, employment documents, photographs, insurance, and other supporting documents as applicable.

* Coordinate with internal teams for application preparation and submission.

* Track application progress and keep clients updated.

Lead Management & Follow-Up

* Handle leads received through calls, website inquiries, social media, referrals, and walk-ins.

* Make regular follow-up calls and messages with prospective clients.

* Maintain proper records of leads, consultations, follow-ups, and conversions.

* Convert qualified leads into clients while maintaining professional communication.

* Achieve monthly counselling, conversion, and sales targets.

Client Relationship Management

* Build strong and professional relationships with clients.

* Resolve client queries and provide timely updates.

* Coordinate with clients for missing documents and additional requirements.





* Maintain confidentiality of client information and documents.

* Provide post-application support and guidance until the relevant process is completed.

Research & Compliance

* Stay updated about changes in visa rules, immigration policies, documentation requirements, and application procedures.

* Verify information through official immigration or embassy sources wherever required.

* Follow company policies and applicable legal/compliance requirements.

* Escalate complex or exceptional cases to senior management or the appropriate immigration team.

Required Skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Robust counselling and convincing abilities.

* Good interpersonal and customer-handling skills.

* Strong follow-up and negotiation skills.

* Good knowledge of MS Office, email, and basic CRM systems.

* Ability to handle multiple clients and applications simultaneously.

* Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Ability to work under deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

* Previous experience in visa consultancy, immigration, overseas education, travel, counselling, customer service, or sales is preferred.

* Freshers with excellent communication and convincing skills can also apply.

* Number of clients counselled.

* Lead-to-client conversion rate.

* Follow-up and response rate.

* Monthly sales/admission targets.

* Client satisfaction and retention.

* Accuracy and completeness of documentation.

* Timely handling of applications and client queries.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be **professional, confident, persuasive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused**, with the ability to explain complex visa procedures in simple language and maintain strong relationships with clients.
