Job Requirements

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. – Mechanical / Electrical / Civil
Role Purpose

To support the procurement and expediting function for engineering/project requirements, ensuring timely placement of purchase orders, vendor coordination, material delivery, documentation and adherence to project schedules, quality and commercial requirements.
Ideal Candidate: A proactive engineering graduate with solid follow-up skills, commercial awareness and an interest in Project Procurement, Vendor Management and Expediting in EPC/Infrastructure/Green Energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement
- Support RFQ preparation, enquiry floating, quotation collection and commercial comparison.
- Prepare and maintain Techno-Commercial Bid Comparisons (TCB) and procurement trackers.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Project, Quality and Finance teams for technical/commercial clarifications.
- Assist in purchase order preparation and follow-up for timely PO placement.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases and MIS.

Expediting




- Track vendor manufacturing and delivery schedules against project milestones.
- Regularly follow up with vendors for material readiness, inspection, dispatch and delivery.
- Monitor PO milestones, manufacturing progress, inspection status and dispatch schedules.
- Coordinate with Quality/Inspection teams for inspection calls, documentation and clearance.
- Identify potential delays and escalate risks to the Procurement/Project Manager.
- Ensure timely receipt of MTCs, inspection reports, drawings, invoices, packing lists and other required documents.
- Maintain daily/weekly expediting reports and highlight critical items.
Key Skills
- Excellent English reading and writing skills.
- Strong Excel skills and ability to prepare MIS/trackers.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and commercial terms.
