Janani Designz is a UAE-based online boutique offering Indian women’s fashion and traditional jewellery. Our collection includes sarees, maternity and feeding wear, nightwear, and other clothing that combines comfort, tradition, and contemporary style.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join us full-time. The designer will support the complete product development process, from collection concepts and fabric selection to sample evaluation and final quality checks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Research current trends and develop collection concepts for our target customers.
- Create sketches, mood boards, colour palettes, and product specifications.
- Recommend suitable fabrics, prints, colours, trims, and other materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers during product development.
- Review samples for fit, measurements, stitching, finishing, comfort, and overall quality.




- Provide clear feedback and follow up on sample corrections.
- Ensure designs are practical, commercially viable, and aligned with the Janani Designz brand.
- Support the development of seasonal, maternity, ethnic, and everyday-wear collections.

Requirements:

- Qualification or relevant professional experience in fashion design.
- Freshers with a strong portfolio may also apply.
- Experience in women’s ethnic, maternity, casual, or nightwear is preferred.
- Good understanding of fabrics, garment construction, sizing, patterns, and production.
- Ability to create clear designs and technical specifications.
- Solid attention to detail, particularly during sample quality checks.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with suppliers.
- Access to a personal laptop and a reliable internet connection.
- A portfolio demonstrating relevant fashion design work is required.
