What You'll Be Doing

Conduct engaging and interactive

online GCSE Geography and/or History classes

for international students.
Teach according to the relevant

GCSE/IGCSE curriculum and examination specifications .
Plan structured lessons that develop students'

subject knowledge, analytical thinking, evaluation and examination skills .
Help students understand complex historical events, geographical processes, case studies, concepts and terminology.
Prepare students effectively for

GCSE examinations , including exam technique, source analysis, interpretation, essay writing and structured responses where applicable.
Assess students' academic performance and provide constructive, actionable feedback.
Identify individual learning gaps and adapt teaching strategies according to each student's needs.
Track students' progress and maintain accurate academic records.
Communicate professionally with the academic/coordinator team regarding student progress and requirements.
Create a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, confidence and independent thinking.





What We're Looking ForFor GCSE Geography Teachers:

Proven teaching experience with GCSE Geography students is essential.
Strong understanding of GCSE Geography content and examination requirements.
Experience teaching topics such as

physical geography, human geography, environmental geography, climate, ecosystems, population, urbanisation, resources and geographical case studies , depending on the examination board.
Strong ability to develop

geographical skills, data interpretation, map skills and exam technique .
Familiarity with

Edexcel, AQA or other recognised GCSE/IGCSE examination boards

is highly desirable.
For GCSE History Teachers:

Proven teaching experience with GCSE History students is essential.
Solid understanding of GCSE History content and examination requirements.
Experience teaching

historical events, causes and consequences, interpretations, source analysis, significance, change and continuity , depending on the specification.
Strong ability to develop students'

essay writing, source evaluation, historical interpretation and examination technique .
Familiarity with

Edexcel, AQA or other recognised GCSE/IGCSE examination boards

is highly desirable.

General Requirements

Previous experience teaching

GCSE / IGCSE students .
Experience in

online teaching or tutoring

is preferred.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to explain challenging concepts clearly and engagingly.
Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
Comfortable using

Google Meet, online whiteboards and digital teaching tools .
A

pen tablet such as Wacom,



XP-Pen or a similar device

is required for effective online teaching.
Reliable internet connection and a professional teaching environment.
Strong organizational skills and commitment to punctuality.
Most importantly, a genuine passion for

teaching, mentoring and helping students succeed .
