We are looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Performance Testing, JMeter, and LoadRunner. The candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure applications meet scalability, stability, reliability, and performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
- Develop and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter and Micro Focus/OpenText LoadRunner.
- Analyze application performance and identify bottlenecks across application, database, API, and infrastructure layers.
- Prepare workload models, test scenarios, test data, and performance test strategies.
- Monitor system performance during test execution and analyze CPU, memory, network, database, and application-level metrics.
- Perform correlation, parameterization, scripting, and script optimization.
- Execute performance test cycles and provide detailed test execution and performance analysis reports.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, architects, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to identify and resolve performance issues.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of performance bottlenecks and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Participate in performance test planning, estimation, execution, and reporting.




- Support performance testing in web, API, microservices, and enterprise applications.
- Contribute to performance testing automation and integration with CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
- Maintain performance testing documentation, dashboards, reports, and test results.

Mandatory Skills

- 5 12 years of overall experience in Performance Testing
- Strong hands-on experience in JMeter
- Strong hands-on experience in LoadRunner
- Experience in Load, Stress, Endurance/Soak, Scalability, and Volume Testing
- Solid understanding of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and metrics
- Experience in performance test scripting, execution, monitoring, and result analysis
- Good knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, web applications, and ***-server architecture
- Experience in identifying performance bottlenecks and performing root-cause analysis
- Good understanding of SQL and database performance
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Good to Have

- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools
- Exposure to Jenkins/Git/GitLab/Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Exposure to application and infrastructure monitoring tools
- Experience with performance testing of microservices and APIs
- Knowledge of Python/Java/JavaScript for scripting or test automation
- Exposure to AI/GenAI-based testing tools or techniques is an advantage but not mandatory

Education

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
