Position- Executive Director (Whole-Time Director), proposed NBFC

Entity- New private limited company, to be incorporated as a wholly owned subsidiary of Stable-Alpha Technologies Private Limited

Proposed registration- Investment and Credit Company (NBFC-ICC), non-deposit taking, Base Layer

Reporting to- Board of Directors

Location- Bengaluru

Experience sought- 15 years or more in banking or financial services, with depth in lending and credit underwriting

Compensation- Competitive and commensurate with experience. Includes participation in the group's long term incentive plan.

2. About the Sponsor and the Proposed NBFC

Stable-Alpha Technologies Private Limited (“Stable-Alpha”) is a Bengaluru based company that operates Stable Money, a retail fixed income investment platform.



Retail investors use the platform to place fixed deposits with scheduled banks and to buy listed debt securities through a SEBI registered Online Bond Platform Provider (OBPP). Monthly sales on the platform are currently around ₹1200 crore.

Stable-Alpha proposes to incorporate a recent private limited company as a wholly owned subsidiary and to apply to the Reserve Bank of India for a Certificate of Registration as a Non-Banking Financial Company (Investment and Credit Company), non-deposit taking, in the Base Layer under the Scale Based Regulation framework.

Business plan in brief

• Phase 1: wholesale lending. The NBFC will begin with secured wholesale lending to other NBFCs, through term loans and subscription to non-convertible debentures of growth stage NBFCs. Ticket sizes will be in the range of ₹1 crore to ₹10 crore. The sponsor already understands this segment well from the fixed income side. Starting here also allows the credit function to be built and tested on a small set of institutional counterparties that can be monitored closely.
