*Job Summary*

A leading garments manufacturing company in *Chetpet, Chennai* is looking for a energetic *Junior Merchandiser* to support the merchandising team. This is a great entry-level role for candidates looking to grow in the apparel/export industry.

*Key Responsibilities*
- Coordinate with buyers, production, and factory teams for order execution
- Follow up on fabric, trims, and accessories sourcing and ensure timely delivery
- Prepare cost sheets, tech packs, and order-related documents
- Track production progress and ensure quality standards are maintained
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and buyers for updates and approvals
- Assist senior merchandisers in sampling, costing, and shipment documentation




- Maintain daily records of orders, shipments, and buyer communication
- Ensure all orders are delivered within timelines as per buyer requirements

*Required Skills & Qualifications*

1. *0-2 years* experience in garment merchandising. Freshers with relevant internship are welcome

2. Graduate in any discipline. Textile/Apparel/Fashion background preferred

3. Basic knowledge of *garment construction, fabrics, trims, and production process*

4. Proficiency in *MS Excel, MS Word, and email communication*

5. Good communication skills in *English and Tamil*

6. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines

7. Willing to visit factory and do sample coordination

8. Based in *Chennai* or willing to work from *Chetpet*

*Preferred*
- Prior exposure to export houses, buying houses, or manufacturing units
- Knowledge of ERP systems used in apparel industry
