Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Furniture Design Engineer to understand design requirements from domestic and overseas buyers/clients and translate them into accurate, production-ready designs — quickly and efficiently — to help secure project orders. Candidates with a background in metal furniture design and/or the sheet metal industry are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities

- Interpret design briefs and requirements from overseas and domestic clients/buyers
- Develop and finalize product designs in coordination with the design team
- Coordinate with the Projects team to prepare product costing based on approved drawings
- Coordinate with the Manufacturing department to ensure production aligns with approved drawings
- Support order finalization by delivering designs within required timelines

Technical Skills Required

- Expertise in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, SolidEdge, and Pro-E for product design (2D & 3D)
- Strong understanding of design calculations and product costing
- Basic knowledge of laser cutting, punching,



and bending machine processes
- Hands-on experience in sheet metal, fabrication, and hard goods furniture design

Behavioral / Other Skills

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office and PowerPoint for client presentations
- Robust problem-solving ability and quick learner
- Comfortable coordinating across design, costing, and manufacturing teams
