- Join BMW TechWorks in the Digital Product Engineering cluster, focusing on the development and integration of BIW & closure systems.
- Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of closure systems into overall vehicle architecture.

What should you bring along
- Strong ownership mindset with proven experience in leading closure system development
- Excellent collaboration skills to drive alignment across global and cross-functional teams
- Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
- Ability to mentor and guide teams while ensuring engineering excellence
- Very good English communication skills (German is an advantage)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering or related field
- Extensive experience in automotive closures (doors, hood, tailgate systems)
- Extensive experience in automotive Body In White( Underbody and Upperbody)
- Proactive, result-oriented mindset with ability to work in a matrix organization
Must have technical skill
- Deep expertise in BIW & closure systems with end-to-end ownership (design to production)
- Solid proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA / NX / Creo) and system integration
- Expert understanding of hinges, latch systems, sealing, and vehicle interfaces
- Strong command over GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and dimensional management
- Extensive experience in DFMEA, validation, and issue resolution
- Strong knowledge of crash, durability, NVH, and regulatory requirements
- Proven experience in supplier management and cross-functional leadership
Good to have Technical skills
- Experience working with global OEMs or international automotive programs
- Exposure to full vehicle development lifecycle and system integration
- Knowledge of PLM tools and engineering data management workflows
- Understanding of DFM / DFA and cost optimization approaches
- Experience in resolving field issues and driving continuous improvement
- Exposure to lightweight design and advanced materials
- Ability to drive innovation and process improvements in BIW & closure systems
