Job Description:

The EBOP Lead – O&M; (AGM/DGM) for a renewable energy corporate office manages the enterprise-wide electrical Balance of Plant (eBoP) infrastructure. The role focuses on technical governance, high-voltage asset reliability, grid compliance, and lifecycle optimization across large-scale solar and wind portfolios.

EBOP DGM Role:
- 220 kv 420kv - O&M;
- Relay Protection, Coordination
- SLDC, NRLDC - Coordinate with them & get the communication for seamless data communication
- Knowledge of Forecasting & Scheduling under Hybrid/ RTC model/ BESS for captive as well as discom projects
- Spare Management
- Emergency Preparedness Plan
- Commissioning of Substation (He will not commission but knows how to)
- Expertise on Substation, Transmission Line maintenance,
- Expertise on USS, IDT & Power Transformers
- Communication
- Getting things done by the vendors/ service providers of O&M;
- Understanding of SAS, Fortee, PLCC
- Monthly GMR, Invoicing

Soft Skills: Good with Leadership & Coordination with Multiple Vendors/ Stakeholders. Smart with getting things done,



Valuable with Networking skills & maintain relationships with Government.

Role Purpose & Scope
- Designation Level: Assistant General Manager (AGM) or Deputy General Manager (DGM)
- Location: Corporate Office
- Core Objective: Ensure safe, compliant, and maximum-uptime operation of HV/EHV substations, transmission lines, and switchyard systems across a multi-gigawatt renewable fleet.

Key Responsibilities
- Asset & Portfolio Governance: Oversee end-to-end eBoP performance, reliability indices (MTBF/MTTR), and condition-based monitoring programs (THERMO, DGA, IR/PD) for numerous pooling substations.
- Grid & Regulatory Compliance: Drive coordination with SLDC, RLDC, and CEA for smooth power evacuation, grid code compliance, outage approvals, and scheduled curtailment management.
- HOTO & Due Diligence: Lead Handover-Takeover (HOTO) evaluations for new assets, checking as-built designs, protection setting
