We are looking for an experienced Weight Dispute Specialist with strong hands-on experience in E-commerce
logistics to manage end-to-end weight dispute cases with courier and logistics partners.
The role will be responsible for identifying weight discrepancies, validating courier weight claims, raising disputes,
coordinating with partners, and ensuring timely closure and recovery of excess freight charges.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle end-to-end weight dispute management for E-commerce shipments.
• Review and validate weight discrepancies raised by courier/logistics partners.
• Analyse declared weight, actual weight, volumetric weight and chargeable weight.
• Verify shipment-level data, AWB details, dimensions, weight records, images and other supporting
documents.
• Raise weight disputes with courier partners within defined timelines and ensure timely follow-up.
• Coordinate with E-commerce Operations, Warehouse, Finance and Courier Partner teams for dispute
resolution.
• Negotiate and resolve disputed weight cases with logistics partners.
• Track disputed, accepted,



rejected and recovered cases through a structured MIS.
• Ensure maximum recovery of incorrect/excess weight charges.
• Monitor dispute ageing and ensure cases are closed within defined TAT/SLA.
• Analyse recurring weight discrepancies and identify root causes.
• Prepare regular Weight Dispute MIS, Recovery Reports and Ageing Reports for management.
• Escalate high-value or long-pending disputes to the concerned stakeholders.
• Maintain proper documentation and evidence for all weight dispute cases.
• Identify opportunities to improve the weight dispute process and reduce revenue leakage.
Key Requirements
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in E-commerce / E-commerce Logistics.
• Hands-on experience in Weight Dispute Handling is mandatory.
• Solid understanding of courier billing and shipment reconciliation.
• Good knowledge of dead weight, volumetric weight and chargeable weight.
