Job Purpose
One Web is one of the three large pieces of the company’s omnipresence strategy and the most important.
It is an integrated platform offering a portfolio of products covering payments, cards, wallets, loans, deposits, mutual funds, and loans on lifestyle products ranging from consumer durables to home furnishing.
One Web platform will integrate our home-grown ecommerce store, insurance marketplace, investment marketplace, payments engine including BBPS and offer a consumer-tech experience to our customers.
It will be a energetic digital platform which will be hyper-personalized for each customer and provide the right nudges across multiple channels to start, resume or finish the journey.
The One Web Full Stack developer will be doing full stack development to build scalable, robust one web platform. Will be doing code reviews & help improve the code quality by making hands dirty & suggesting the best practices & SOP. Instrumental in setting up the full stack framework for REST API, frontend or entire web portals with the robust, latest, scalable technologies frameworks & will be leading one of the development tracks of one web ecosystem.
The candidate is expected to operate as an AI-assisted developer from day one — effectively using tools like GitHub Copilot, VSCode to generate, review and refactor components, with a strong grasp of prompt design, context management and verification of AI-generated output
Duties and Responsibilities
• Create a robust platform which delivers high performance pages and journeys for a digital asset with 100K+ pages and 100+ unique buy journeys for products
• Work with a large frame of developers and architects at Partner end, drive them towards a common goal of delivering a high-quality website with right technologies in place
• Be able to set up right frameworks for logging, caching, exception handling and ensure that code carries all the flavors of the Core Architecture defined earlier in the lifecycle of project
• Set up best practices and right standards for coding, deployment and testing the code for all tracks including React/NextJS Node, Nginx, Akamai and more
• Create a framework for highly efficient code writing with right branching strategy, peer-reviews, code merge, and code testing
• Enforce engineering hygiene both in process as well as code quality.




• Use GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor or equivalent AI coding assistants as a primary day-to-day tool for component generation, refactoring, test generation, and documentation — not as an optional add-on.
• Write effective prompts and context scaffolding (clear intent, constraints, examples, acceptance criteria) to get production-grade React/Next.js components, hooks and utilities on the first or second attempt.
• Maintain project-level AI context files (e.g., CLAUDE.md, .cursorrules, copilot-instructions.md) capturing coding standards, architectural patterns, Bajaj Finserv design tokens, accessibility rules and RBI/compliance guardrails for the team’s repo.
• Always critically review AI-generated output for security (XSS/CSRF, PII leakage), performance (bundle size, re-renders, Core Web Vitals), accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), and adherence to internal architectural patterns before committing.
• Practise responsible AI coding hygiene — no customer PII, API keys, secrets, proprietary RBI-regulated data, or production configs in prompts; follow Bajaj Finserv’s approved-tool list and data-handling policy at all times.
• Contribute to reusable prompt libraries and component generation templates for the team so productivity gains compound across the team

• Ensuring timeline adherence to all assigned businesses and modules across agreed milestones
• Provide the Plans for large scale implementations which goes across multiple tracks and be able to create and manage dependencies effectively

• Executing POCs to validate technology roadmaps, feasibilities & possibilities with scalable solutions which are also versatile, inter-operable, can co-exist in the overall ecosystem and cost effective
• Stay current on the AI-for-developer-tools landscape (new models, IDE integrations, agentic coding workflows)



and proactively surface opportunities to the senior UI developer / architect.|• Leverage and sponsor innovation work, both through internal incubators and BFL’s external start-up network to create, evaluate, and introduce novel technical capabilities into the platform
Required Qualifications and Experience
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION
• Should have 3-5 years of Web development experience & at least 2+ years of experience on projects involving JavaScript, JS frameworks (ReactJS /NextJS, Nodejs), UI frameworks, and Databases (e.g. MySQL, Redis, MongoDB. Elasticsearch)
• FinTech or Ecommerce experience is desirable
• Graduate in Engineering, with a post-graduation preferably from a Tier 1 college
• Involved in doing Performance and Security testing for Websites and App based digital platforms. Understands Load model creation, OWASP top 10 and other related concepts
• Ample knowledge and exposure in Frontend techs to drive discussions and recommend options based on business needs.
• 2+ Years of experience with Bootstrap, React/NextJS/SolidJS, CSS3, HTML 5 and jQuery.
• Hands on implementation knowledge of CSS pre-processor like SaaS and less and responsive frameworks like bootstrap.
• 2+ years’ Experience with common front-end development & build tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• 2 + Years of experience in developing REST API using frameworks like Express, KOA, loopback.io
• Understanding in Cloud architecture (AWS, Azure or Google), preferably certified in one of these
• Experience in building Robust & scalable solution for heavy traffics portals likes of top ecommerce companies
• History of stakeholder-facing roles with good communication and documentation skills is must
• Has implemented Quality Processes for projects like Continuous Integration Jenkins, SonarQube, Code reviews (Manual and Automated), code Formatters, Automation testing etc.
• 1+ years of experience of building Progressive Web App. Good to have in depth knowledge of service workers internals & have developed large enterprise scale PWAs.
• Good to have experience on cloud-native architectures and cloud deployment is preferred
• Good to have experience with microservices architecture using EKS will be preferred
