Job DescriptionDelhi Public School is seeking a energetic, qualified, and energetic female Physical Education & Yoga Instructor to join our physical education department. The candidate will be responsible for encouraging physical fitness, discipline, and mental well-being among students by planning and executing age-appropriate sports, athletics, and yoga sessions aligned with the CBSE physical education curriculum.
nKey Responsibilities
nPhysical Education & Sports Instruction:
nPlan, organize, and conduct daily Physical Education classes in accordance with CBSE guidelines.
nTrain students in outdoor and indoor sports, track and field events, and general fitness routines.
nIdentify student athletic talent and coach teams for inter-house, inter-school, and CBSE cluster tournaments.
nYoga & Wellness Instruction:
nConduct structured yoga, pranayama, and mindfulness sessions to foster physical flexibility and stress management among students.
nDesign customized routines suitable for different age groups (Primary through Senior levels).
nClassroom & Campus Discipline:




nMaintain student discipline during sports periods, assemblies, sports day practice, and outdoor school events.
nEnsure strict adherence to safety protocols during all physical activities and games.
nEvent Coordination & Administrative Duties:
nAssist in organizing Annual Sports Day, inter-house competitions, and yoga celebrations (e.g., International Yoga Day).
nMaintain inventory records of sports equipment, fitness gear, and first-aid kits.
nEvaluate student physical health parameters and maintain progress reports as required by the CBSE board.
nEducation:
nBachelor's or Master's in Physical Education (B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed) from a recognized university.
nCertification or Diploma in Yoga Instruction / Yogic Studies from a recognized institute.
nExperience: 1–5 years of experience teaching Physical Education and Yoga in a CBSE or reputed English-medium school (Freshers with strong practical sk
