Job Description Sr. Associate/Associate Manager- Payrolln Finance & Governancen Gurugram, Haryanan A day in the life of this rolen Meritto is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll professional to manage end-to-end payrolln operations. The role requires hands-on experience with payroll tools, strong statutory compliance knowledge, and deep expertise in TDS, reconciliations, and MIS reporting.n Key Responsibilitiesn Payroll Operationsn • Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing with accuracy and adherence to timelinesn • Process attendance, leave, incentives, reimbursements, deductions, arrears, and F&F; settlementsn • Ensure accurate salary structures and payouts across employees and consultantsn • Support payroll closures and coordination with Financen TDS & Tax Compliancen • Compute and deduct TDS on salaries as per Income Tax regulationsn • Manage quarterly TDS return filings (Form 24Q) with accuracy and timelinesn • Handle TDS reconciliations with books and TRACESn • Ensure timely issuance of Form 16 and resolution of TDS-related discrepanciesn • Liaise with auditors and consultants for TDS assessments and noticesn Payroll Systems & Toolsn • Manage payroll using Zoho People / Zoho Payroll or similar HRMS toolsn • Maintain employee payroll master data and system configurationsn • Coordinate with HR/IT for system improvements and issue resolutionn • Support payroll audits and system enhancementsn Statutory Compliancen • Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF, Gratuity, etc.n • Manage statutory filings, challans,



and reconciliationsn • Coordinate with consultants and authorities during audits or assessmentsn • Stay updated with changes in payroll laws and regulationsn MIS & Reportingn • Prepare detailed payroll MIS reports, dashboards, and management summariesn • Perform payroll, TDS, and statutory reconciliations on a periodic basisn • Generate variance analysis and insights for leadership reviewn • Support month-end and year-end payroll reporting and auditsn Employee & Stakeholder Supportn • Act as SPOC for employee payroll queriesn • Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll datan • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendorsn What we're looking forn • B.Com with 4–6 years of payroll experiencen • MBA in Finance/HR is an added advantagen • Strong hands-on experience in TDS computation, return filing, and reconciliationsn • Experience with Zoho People / Zoho Payroll or similar toolsn • Strong knowledge of Indian payroll and statutory compliancen • Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)n • High attention to detail and accuracyn • Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsn Who we aren At Meritto we believe in building more than just solutions.
