We're an early-stage EdTech startup where design and motion aren't decoration — they're how our product gets understood, shared, and sold.n The Prospectn We need one person who can do two things exceptionally well: design polished product UI in Figma, and turn that product into scroll-stopping short-form video.n Our web app works, but it looks developer-built — you'll elevate it. And once it looks great, you'll be the one making the 15–60 second reels, demo clips, and animated explainers that put it in front of educators and students worldwide.n Design in Figma → animate it → ship it to the feed. Full loop, one owner.n What You'll Don Figma / Product Design (≈60%)n → Audit & refine existing UI screens for visual polish and professional aestheticsn → Build a cohesive design system — typography, color, spacing, components, variantsn → Create reusable component libraries with auto-layout for clean developer handoffn → Design interactive prototypes that communicate flow and intentn → Improve visual hierarchy, whitespace, and micro-interaction specsn → Ensure responsive design across desktop, tablet, and mobilen Motion Graphics / Short Video (≈40%)n → Produce short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn — product teasers, feature drops,



launch clipsn → Create animated product demos and explainers that make complex EdTech workflows feel simplen → Design UI motion — screen transitions, loaders, onboarding animations, empty statesn → Export production-ready Lottie/Rive animations for developers to implementn → Handle end-to-end video: storyboard → animate → edit → sound design → captions → exportn → Adapt every asset across 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9 without losing impactn → Maintain a consistent brand motion language across all contentn ---n What You Bringn Must-Have:n → 2+ years designing UI for web/SaaS products with motion or video work in the mixn → Expert-level Figma — components, auto-layout, variants, prototyping, design systemsn → Strong After Effects skills — keyframes, easing, masking, expressions basicsn → Proven ability to produce short-form video content end-to-end (edit, pace, caption, export)n → Solid grasp of animation principles — timing, easing, anticipation, weightn → Portfolio and showreel — static screens alone won't cut itn → Understanding of platform-native formats and what actually performs on Reels/Shortsn → Strong eye for detail, consistency,
