Role Description The Data Governance Specialist will be responsible for defining, implementing,



and maintaining data governance frameworks and standards across Tredence’s projects and internal systems. This on-site role, based in Mumbai, involves collaborating closely with data engineers, data scientists, business stakeholders, and compliance teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and regulatory adherence. Day-to-day tasks include establishing data policies and metadata standards, managing data catalogs and dictionaries, supporting data stewardship processes, and monitoring adherence to governance guidelines. The specialist will work on assessing data risks, documenting data lineage, coordinating data access controls, and supporting audits and compliance reporting. In addition, the role will contribute to training and awareness programs, helping teams adopt best practices in data management and responsible use of AI and analytics.
