Role Description The Assistant Professor role is a full-time, on-site position based at Meenakshi College of Engineering in Chennai. The selected candidate will teach undergraduate and, where applicable,



postgraduate courses, prepare lesson plans, deliver lectures, and conduct tutorials, labs, and assessments in their area of specialization. Daily responsibilities include guiding students academically, evaluating assignments and examinations, maintaining accurate academic records, and offering mentoring and academic advising. The role also involves engaging in curriculum development, participating in departmental and committee meetings, contributing to accreditation and quality initiatives, and supporting the college’s vision for excellence in technical education. In addition, the Assistant Professor is expected to pursue scholarly activities such as research, publications, and participation in conferences or workshops, and to contribute to outreach and co-curricular activities.
