Role Description: This is a full time role for a Geotechnical Engineer at Geocon International Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai. The Jr. Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for soil analysis, geotechnical engineering assessments, engineering geology evaluations, and foundation design tasks.

We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated people to work in the field of geotechnical engineering design (office) as well engineering inspection(field). Job location is in Mahim, Mumbai.





Responsibilities:
Carry out design works and preparation of reports under the guidance of Senior/Principal engineer to a high technical level with minimum supervision from seniors.
Familiar with and able to interrogate a wide range of geotechnical software for the design of civil engineering projects including deep and shallow foundations (including pile group analysis), embedded and gravity retaining walls, earthworks/slope stability and reinforced earthworks;
Proficiency with the use of geotechnical software for the management, review and presentation of ground investigation and geotechnical data using current best practice;
Contribute to the planning of effective geotechnical resources;
Be self motivated and take on project work with a clear focus on timeliness, quality and
technical excellence;
Be responsible for planning own work and carrying out self-checks; requirements are fully
