About the role
We're hiring full-time contractors to work on transcription and transcription review across our audio data projects.
Day to day, that means producing accurate transcripts from audio and reviewing work produced by other annotators — correcting errors, applying guidelines consistently, and giving clear feedback. Depending on what's live, you may also work on adjacent projects such as word alignment, where spoken words are matched to their exact position in a transcript. The mix shifts with client needs, so we're looking for people comfortable moving between task types.
The work is detail-heavy and quiet. If you like careful, focused tasks and have a valuable ear for language, it's a strong fit.
Fully remote and flexible on hours — we care about output and turnaround, not when you're at your desk. This is a full-time commitment,



though, so we're looking for people who can give it their working week rather than fit it around another role.

What you'll be doing
Transcribing audio accurately and consistently against detailed guidelines
Reviewing and correcting transcripts produced by other annotators, and flagging patterns worth fixing upstream
Working on related audio annotation tasks, including word alignment, as projects require
Maintaining quality scores across sustained volumes of work
Raising unclear audio, edge cases, and gaps in the guidelines

What you'll need
1+ year of experience in data annotation, labeling, or AI/ML training data work. You should already be familiar with working to a guideline document and being measured on quality.
A laptop or desktop computer. This work can't be done on a phone or tablet.
