Role Description

The Caster Line Mechanical Assembly Fitter is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar. This role is responsible for assembling and fitting mechanical components for caster lines and related steel fabrication equipment according to technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include aligning and installing mechanical parts, performing routine maintenance and adjustments, inspecting assemblies for quality and accuracy, and collaborating with welders, fabricators, and engineers to resolve technical issues. The fitter will also support troubleshooting of mechanical faults, assist in equipment setup and commissioning, and maintain a clean, secure, and organized work area in compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Mechanical fundamentals and Automotive mechanical systems relevant to heavy industrial equipment.




Candidates should possess skills in mechanical assemblies, with a focus on reliability, safety, and quality standards.
Candidates should possess skills in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and assembly layouts.
Relevant technical ITI, diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is beneficial.
Experience in industrial steel plants, or caster line operations is an advantage.
Ability to use hand tools, measuring instruments, and power tools safely and accurately.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and willingness to follow standardized procedures and safety guidelines.
Capacity to work on-site in a physically demanding environment and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
