The Office 365 Security and IAM Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies, designing secure solutions, and managing the ongoing operations and maintenance of our Office 365 workplace and IAM systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Office 365 security features, IAM principles, and best practices and will work closely with various teams to ensure robust security protocols are in place.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Design:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Office 365 security and IAM strategy focusing on Azure Active Directory and Conditional Access Policies.
- Design secure Office 365 configurations and IAM solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the architecture and design of Office 365 security features and IAM frameworks.
- Identify emerging security trends and integrate them into the overall security strategy.

Office 365 Security:
- Configure and manage Office 365 security features such as Defender for O365, Data Loss Prevention (DLP)




- Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts within the Office 365 environment.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits of Office 365 configurations and policies.
- Implement and manage Office 365 Security and Compliance Center.
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures for Office 365 usage.

Identity and Access Management (IAM):
- Implement and maintain IAM solutions, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Design, implement, and manage Conditional Access Policies within Azure AD to enhance security and control access.
- Ensure compliance with IAM best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage the lifecycle of user identities and access privileges.

Operations and Maintenance:
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts related to Azure AD and Conditional Access Policies.
