About the Role
Nexus Automation Solutions is looking for a motivated PLC Programmer to join our automation engineering team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and support PLC, SCADA, and HMI-based control systems for industrial automation projects, working closely with cross-functional teams and customers to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design of PLC systems, SCADA systems, and HMIs.
Develop system requirements, specifications, and design documentation.
Optimize program logic and algorithms to achieve desired system performance and functionality.
Develop interfaces and protocols for seamless communication between different systems and devices.
Engage with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, technical discussions,



and project updates.
Develop prototypes or proof-of-concept systems to validate design concepts and functionality.
Conduct testing and validation procedures to verify system performance and reliability.
Manage automation projects from inception to completion, including project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior automation engineers and technicians.
Serve as a subject matter expert in automation technologies, providing guidance to project teams.
Develop and execute testing procedures to validate functionality, performance, and reliability of automation systems.
Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) to ensure system compliance with customer requirements.
