Responsibilities

E-Auctions: Design, configure, and execute live reverse (procurement) and forward (scrap/disposal) e-auctions.

Category Management: Source finished products (Lead-Acid, Lithium-Ion, BESS), key raw materials/components, and end-of-life battery scrap.

Market Benchmarking: Monitor metal index trends (LME Lead, Lithium, Cobalt) to set competitive reserve pricing and targets.

Supplier Onboarding: Qualify OEMs, vendors, and compliant recyclers, conducting mock auctions and pre-bid training.

Savings & Analytics: Analyze bidding behavior, evaluate yield optimization, and deliver post-auction cost savings reports.

Experience: 4–8+ years in strategic procurement or e-sourcing within the battery, energy, or metal recycling sectors.

Technical Expertise: Robust knowledge of battery chemistries (Li-ion, LFP, NMC, VRLA), BESS components, and raw material cost structures.

Platform Skills: Hands-on experience with e-auction tools (SAP Ariba, MSTC, MetalJunction, or custom e-sourcing engines).

Compliance: Familiarity with statutory quality standards and battery waste management/EPR regulations.
