Job Description – Technical Product Owner (PO)

Location: Hyderabad

Cotiviti Hyderabad is seeking a Technical Product Owner (TPO) to support one of its healthcare payment accuracy and analytics product suites. This role works closely with Product Owners, Engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to define requirements, build domain expertise, and support product delivery. The individual will bridge business and technology teams by gathering requirements, refining solutions, creating user stories, and ensuring successful execution in an Agile workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Agile Delivery
Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, Architects, Agile teams, and Operations teams during Program Increment (PI) or other methodology of planning and execution.
Refine and manage the program backlog, ensuring readiness for PI Planning.
Prioritize and maintain the team backlog.
Create, groom, and manage features and user stories, ensuring they are ready for development.
Define clear acceptance criteria and ensure story completion within planned sprints.
Identify and communicate dependencies, risks, and impediments proactively.
Participate actively in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Communicate product, functional, and operational issues effectively to both technical teams and leadership.
