Role Description The Carpenter will work full time in office at the Mukundapuram location, contributing to the production of custom solid wood furniture. Day-to-day responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and assembling wooden components for cots, sofas, dining sets, wardrobes, and kitchen units, following design specifications and safety guidelines. The role involves operating hand and power tools, performing framing and finish carpentry tasks, and ensuring joints, surfaces,



and finishes meet quality standards. The Carpenter will collaborate with other craftspeople, maintain a clean and safe workshop, inspect materials for defects, and assist with minor repairs or adjustments on completed furniture before delivery.
Qualifications

Strong carpentry skills with experience in custom furniture or woodworking.
Proficiency in hand tools (e.g., saws, chisels, planes) and safe handling practices.
Ability to operate and maintain power tools such as drills, sanders, and routers.
Experience with framing work for furniture structures and joinery.
Skill in finish carpentry, including sanding, fitting, and preparing surfaces for finishing.
Understanding of wood types, measurements, and reading basic technical drawings.
