Role Description The Cost Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for managing and analyzing cost data related to apparel production and operations. Daily activities include preparing cost sheets, tracking material and labor costs, reviewing variances between standard and actual costs, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization across product lines and processes. The role involves collaborating with production, merchandising, procurement,



and finance teams to ensure accurate costing for domestic and export orders, supporting pricing decisions and margin targets. The Cost Analyst will also assist in budgeting and forecasting, maintain cost databases and reports, and present clear insights to management to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
Solid Analytical Skills to interpret cost data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Cost Control and Cost Management skills to monitor expenses, support efficiency initiatives, and help maintain target margins.
Cost Accounting expertise to prepare cost sheets, analyze variances, and ensure accurate allocation of production costs.
Finance-related skills to support budgeting, forecasting, and coordination with the finance team for reporting and compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications in costing or finance are an advantage.
