1. Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Verification and Validation Engineer – Power Electronics product i.e. EV chargers and other high-power conversion systems. The role involves end-to-end product development, including system integration, product Verification & validation as per IEC standards and also should contribute in developing robust, reliable and high-performance products.

2. Principal Accountabilities

1. Verification and Validation

 Develop and manage DVP/DVP&R; for power electronics products, covering electrical, thermal, mechanical, environmental, safety, reliability, and EMI/EMC validation requirements in accordance with applicable standards.
 Develop detailed test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria.
 Perform functional, performance, thermal, environmental, EMI/EMC, safety, and reliability testing.
 Analyze test results, identify design issues, and implement corrective actions.
 Ensure complete verification and validation documentation and test reports.

2. Compliance and Certification





 Ensure compliance with relevant standards from International Electrotechnical Commission, Bureau of Indian Standards, UL, and CE requirements.
 Coordinate with external certification laboratories.
 Review certification reports and resolve non-conformities to achieve product approvals.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination

 Work closely with mechanical, firmware, software, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality teams.
 Support prototype builds, pilot production, and production ramp-up.
 Coordinate with suppliers for component qualification and technical issue resolution.

4. Documentation and Project Support

 Prepare and maintain technical specifications, design documents, test procedures, and reports.
 Track project milestones and ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables.
 Support customer technical discussions and provide engineering input for proposals and product customization.
