About the Role
Responsible for ensuring timely procurement of electronic components and production materials to support uninterrupted manufacturing and customer deliveries.
Responsibilities
Procure electronic components, PCBs, mechanical parts, consumables, and packaging materials.
Review MRP requirements and raise/manage purchase orders based on production demand.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve overdue/critical materials.
Discuss MOQ, lead times, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Manage supplier performance, shortages, allocation constraints, and long-lead-time components.
Coordinate with Planning, Production, Quality, Engineering, and Finance teams.
Support NPI, engineering changes, alternate-source development, and BOM changes.
Monitor procurement KPIs including delivery, supplier performance, and material availability.




Qualifications
4–8 years of procurement experience, preferably in EMS/electronics manufacturing.
Good knowledge of electronic components and manufacturing materials.
Experience with MRP/ERP systems and MS Excel.
Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and supplier-management skills.
Ability to handle critical shortages and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
