Mission

The Month-End Controller is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end month-end close process globally, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with group accounting policies. This role acts as a key liaison between the Shared Service Centre (SSC), regional controllership teams, and group to deliver high-quality financial results and to continuously improve the efficiency of the closing process.

Responsibilities

- Manage the month-end calendar, ensuring transparency, adherence to deadlines, and proactive resolution of bottlenecks.
/n
- Lead and oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring all activities are completed accurately and on time.
/n
- Ensure consistency in ways of working and roust control of trial balance, P&L;, and balance sheet positions.
/n
- Collaborate with BPO partners and regional accounting teams to ensure effective execution of closing activities.
/n
- Identify, report, and support remediation of control or process issues identified during the close cycle.
/n
- Drive standardization, automation,
and continuous improvement in the month-end close process to reduce cycle time and increase accuracy.
/n
- Support group audit and compliance requirements, ensuring documentation and evidence are complete and readily available.
/n
- Prepare and present closing KPIs and performance metrics to management, highlighting improvement opportunities.

Requirements
/n
/n
- Qualification (CA/MBA or equivalent) or advanced level in career.
/n
- Month End Process Experience
/n
- Experience in similar role for at least 7 years.
/n
- SAP or major ERP experience including
/n
- Experience managing BPO organisation in delivering month end process
/n
- Soft skills required:
/n
- Good organizational skills, ability to manage workload to ensure all key deadlines are met.
/n
- Robust presentation skills.
