About this role:
We are seeking a Global Transmission Network Planning Engineer to design, plan, and optimise Vodafone’s global transmission network. The role focuses on delivering high-level and low-level designs, supporting capacity planning, and enabling deployment of scalable and productive network infrastructure. The individual will collaborate with global teams and vendors to ensure reliable, cost-effective solutions that meet evolving business and customer requirements.
What you will do:
- Review and approve transmission network feasibility requests, providing optimised solutions, cost estimates, and indicative timelines
- Plan and design global transmission networks, including preparation of business cases and presentations
- Develop HLD, LLD, and ISD documentation for network builds, optimisation, and site closure initiatives
- Deliver transmission network projects while managing associated budgets
