Job Summary

The Electroplating Supervisor is responsible for supervising the electroplating process, ensuring high-quality metal finishing, maintaining production targets, managing operators, and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily electroplating operations.
- Monitor plating processes such as zinc, nickel, chrome, copper, silver, or other metal coatings.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within the specified timelines.
- Maintain plating bath chemistry, chemical levels, and process parameters.
- Inspect finished products for coating quality, thickness, adhesion, and appearance.
- Identify and resolve plating defects and process issues.
- Coordinate with the Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams.
- Ensure preventive maintenance of plating tanks, rectifiers, pumps, and related equipment.
- Maintain production, quality, and chemical consumption records.




- Train operators on plating procedures, safety, and quality standards.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
- Minimize chemical wastage and improve process efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, or Production Engineering.
- 3-7 years of experience in electroplating or surface finishing.
