To be successful in this role, you should have experience with:
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, concurrency
- Define and own end-to-end architecture for scalable, resilient pricing systems
- Strong experience in low-latency, high-throughput FX/eTrading platforms
- Establish technical standards, performance benchmarks, and design patterns
- Independently drive large, complex programs (E2E ownership)
- Ensure quality delivery with strong accountability and timelines
- Own services globally across all environments including production environment 24*7
- Enforce code quality, testing, CI/CD, and engineering standards
- Drive architecture decisions and cross-system integrations
- Lead senior engineers and tech leads; drive ownership and delivery discipline
- Solid communication across business and technology stakeholders
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Experience with messaging systems (e.g. Solace / Kafka)
- Experience with cloud-native platforms (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Mongo / KDB)
- Exposure to control frameworks (risk, liquidity controls, pricing safeguards)
- Prior experience working on strategic re-platforming / global transformation programs
