Project Details Language: Dhivehi Dialect: Standard Dhivehi Script: Thaana Location: Anywhere in the Maldives Participant Requirementsspeaker of Standard Dhivehi Clear and intelligible speech Must be able to record in a quiet indoor/home-office setting Minimal background noise, echo, or reverberation Recording Requirements Participants will read provided Dhivehi sentences/prompts, one sentence at a time. Each sentence: approximately 5–12 seconds One speaker per recording Prompts should not be repeated for the same speaker No compression or codec Less than 10% silence at the overall audio-hour level Record using any Smartphone.
